When you are a company as big as Apple, you will be sued for every little thing possible. In China recently, the company was sued for infringing the design patent of a company that barely existed which even led a court to order the Cupertino company to stop selling the iPhone 6 in Shanghai.
This time around, Samuel Lit from Pennsylvania is suing Apple for using web carousels on its website.
Apple makes heavy use of carousel on its website, with the carousel on its homepage cycling through all its major products: iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, Apple Watch, and MacBook.
Lit claims that the carousels used by Apple are altogether infringing the around 20 claims of U.S. Patent No. 8,793,330. The patent describes a “system and method for displaying graphics, art, text, animation, video and other content.”
Lit is seeking “reasonable” royalties with interest from Apple. The experienced radio broadcaster previously served as the President of Hy Lit Radio Technologies. This is not the first time that Lit has tried to make some money off his patent. He previously had a website YourDisplayCarousel which he shuttered in December.
Chances are, Lit’s lawsuit against Apple will end with him on the losing side. What do you think?

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali died Friday evening at a Phoenix hospital, according to a press release from family spokesperson Bob Gunnell. He was 74 years old. The release did not specify the cause of death.

Ali was hospitalized yesterday with a respiratory issue, and his family released a short statement earlier this afternoon, acknowledging the hospitalization and stating that his condition at the time was “fair.”

Born Cassius Clay on Jan. 17, 1942, Ali was the first man to win the heavyweight world championship three times. He was banned for three years in the late 1960s for refusing to enter the armed forces, but he returned to the sport and won the Rumble in the Jungle and the Thrilla in Manila. Considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, Ali ended up as famous for his anti-war speeches and anti-establishment politics as as for his boxing achievements.
This post will be updated as more information becomes available.

If you’re a regular iMessage user, you know that the Messages app shows an indicator if the person on the other end is currently typing. If you’re like me, you probably eagerly wait for the person to finish typing so that you can read the message right away.
If you find the idea of making your friends experience the same anxiety, then you can play this funny prank on them, where you send an animated gif of the typing indicator, fooling them into believing that you’re actually typing a message.
Here’s how you do it:

  • Save this image to your Camera Roll by long tapping on it and pressing “Save Image.”Note: There seems to be some issue saving the image when you visit the site as a Home screen web app, so if you’ve problems saving the image visit this link using Safari and save the image.
  • Open the iMessage compose window, tap the camera icon and select the image you just saved
  • Enter the names, numbers or iMessage IDs of the people you want to send this message to, and hit send.

imessage prank

Here’s a video to show you how it works:

This trick would work perfectly when you’re already in the middle of a conversation, but even if you send the image otherwise, it might confuse the receiver for a few seconds.
Update:
Reader inu has a much better way (pure evil) to grab someone’s attention. He says before sending the image file, send this message “I have something very important to tell you.”

Since 2 years ago, Selfie is becoming the trendiest kind of photo, or the ideal photo position that you should take to get a lot of likes on Facebook and therefore get more exposure online. However, lightening is considered to be the crucial factor to make a successful selfie. Basically, Apple consider the iPhone screen light as the flash for older iPhone versions than iPhone 6s.
Apple has added a front camera flash on iPhone 6s to remedy this “Thing that I consider as a flaw“. So, this simple tutorial is aimed for people with any iPhone version older than iPhone 6s. This is a simple step-by-step tutorial to download the right iPhone app to activate the iPhone 6s front camera flash and also how to use it to get the perfect lightening for your next selfies.
Notice :This isn’t the only way to get this feature on your iPhone, there are plenty ways out there but I highly recommend this as it is a trusted app by Apple.

HOW TO GET THE IPHONE 6S FRONT CAMERA FLASH ON ANY IPHONE (WITHOUT JAILBREAK)

First, Go to the App Store and look for “Take Selfies FREE” then select the app with the blue camera with flash at the top-right created by Wanaka Mobile LLC. This is a link to the app, I tested it on iPhone 5 and it worked perfectly.
After downloading the “iPhone 6s front camera flash”, open it up. You should see a selfie camera with the same flash icon in the iPhone 6s, tap on it and Make sure you look the best you can before the 3 seconds timer is cutdown.
After you triggered the timer, note that the brightness of your light depends on your display settings. Make sure you set your brightness to the max in order to get the best performance of its flash.
Before wrapping up, let’s do a before and after comparison to test this app and discover its power.
Tell you what, I am becoming more and more addicted to this. Not only me personally, but also my friends and relatives have ditched the old ways tof taking selfies by taking advantage of the oustanding outcome this app provides.
So, Let’s do it the JESUS way.

How To Use Facebook Reactions On iOS

What is Facebook Reactions?

Days ago, Facebook released a new feature on its social network that they called "Facebook Reactions". In this post, I show you how to use Facebook Reactions on iOS, I talk about the "Facebook Reactions" feature and its impact.

Since 2011, Facebook users didn't stop asking Facebook for a dislike button and now Facebook answers with a more better feature having more than the dislike button.

Beside the famous "Like" button, you can find also a "Love", "Haha", "Sad", "Wow", "Angry" by which you can express your reactions to a post, photo or a video. This is a great feature that no other social network did before.

My opinion : I find that the "Facebook Reactions" name doesn't suit the icons, and I better call them "Facebook Feelings". In my opinions, this is a great feature while it'll change the way how people reacts to the posts on Facebook and more than that, the pages' owners will have more insights about their posts and how they can improve them to make the "Buzz".

How to Use Facebook Reactions on iOS?

While "Morethanbig" talks about iOS, I'll show only the way how you can use the Reactions icons on iOS.

Facebook made it as easy as the like button unless a little difference between how you can "Like" a post and How you can "Wow", "Haha", "Sad", "Angry", "Love" it.

What you find first is the Like button then you should use a little "Holding" on your screen to "pop" the other Facebook Reactions icons.

Here's exactly how you can use Facebook reactions button:
  1. Hold the "like" button.
  2. It'll show you 5 Facebook Reactions icons.
  3. Keep holding then move your finger to any of these icons then let down.
  4. It's done
I hope you enjoy this post.

What are your thoughts about the new "Facebook Reactions" Feature?
